Located 2 km southwest of the town of Puppet, Plovdiv and about 10 km west from the town. Situated in picturesque folds Chernatitsa Western Rhodopes.

Built to spring with healing water. The healing properties of this water has been known since the ancient Thracians. National name of the monastery "St. Vrachove." It is dedicated to the holy healers Cosmas and Damian. The monastery keeps a valuable relic of St. Cosmas hand. The monastery has a small church, which is believed to be one of the oldest churches in Bulgaria.
